🌾 Urban Agriculture Training
2021
Facilitated a three-day training in Dessie City (28–30 September 2021) for 13 women and 3 men, introducing urban farming techniques. The program also engaged children in composting, planting, and cultivating vegetables—building foundational agricultural knowledge for younger generations.
📡 Virtual Nutrition Conference
2023
Organized the first week-long virtual nutrition conference in collaboration with the SAGE Telegram platform (2–8 October 2023), reaching over 400 participants nationwide. This event connected nutrition professionals, policymakers, and community leaders across Ethiopia's regions.
🎓 Innovative Nutrition Education Events
2024–Present
Conducting half-day food and nutrition education sessions in partnership with government ministries and private organizations. Recent events brought together 50 students, 21 staff, 13 invited guests, and 9 expert speakers from government, academia, and NGOs.
📚 Educational Materials Distribution
Ongoing
Distributed more than 90 flyers featuring Ethiopia's Food-Based Dietary Guidelines (FBDG) key messages, providing accessible nutrition education across communities.
👨🍳 Culinary Skills Training
Ongoing
Engaged 50 adolescents (25 girls and 25 boys) in hands-on cooking sessions demonstrating easy, healthy recipes for home practice. This program empowers young people to prepare nutritious meals using locally available, affordable ingredients.
